2022 Season Delay Announcement

BCB Family,

For the third time in the Fields of Dreams (FOD) 26-year history we are announcing a delay
to the start of the 2022 Baseball and Softball Season. The 2022 Season will now start with the
scheduled games on Monday May 2, 2022. Games from the week of April 25. 2022 will be
rescheduled throughout the 2022 calendar.

The reasons for the delay are primarily the result of such a wet April. As you all know we
have had very few of the scheduled practices actually occur this spring at the fields. Other
factors include:

1. Field grass so wet and soft we have not been able to cut the grass yet.
2. Field playing safety issues for our players.
3. Forecast of rain and cold weather the week of April 25, 2022.

For divisions where managers reschedule their home games with other community managers,
you can check to see if your game scheduled at the FOD the week of April 25 can be played at
your opponent's field. If you would rather reschedule the game at the FOD contact Greg
Krieger at 330-565-3114 for available dates. Away games the week of April 25, 2002 can still
be played if your opponent's field is available.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause but we feel this decision is in the best
interest of our plavers, families and complex.
