BCB and Provenzale Concessions Announce
2009 Concession Stimulus Pricing BCB is pleased to announce that effective Monday, May 18, 2009, the pricing on three popular items at the concession stands has been reduced. This reduction is being made in an effort to recognize that economic times are not the best right now and we want to help our families with lower prices on selected items. The Provenzale family has and will continue to provide the highest quality items through the concession stands at the Fields of Dreams. Please recognize that a significant amount of the revenue generated at the concession stands is paid directly to the league by Provenzale Concessions. This commission money is used to pay expenses at the Fields of Dreams and allows Boardman Community Baseball to continue to provide your family with a great place to play baseball and softball. The decrease in pricing is a combination of BCB reducing the commission it receives from concession sales and the Provenzale family agreeing to reduce their net profit amount. We are passing these savings on to you. The reductions on individual items may not appear to be significant, however, over the course of this season the decreases in price will result in a reduction of Boardman Community Baseball commissions of over 12%.
